2011 Spring Swap: Kurberry

My swap book this time is a simple booklet. The cover is a monoprint I did a few years ago using spring leaves and scarlet red oil-based inks, so it seemed well-suited to the seasonality of the swap in our group. It's a one signature booklet stitched to the cover with waxed cotton thread using two pamphlet stitches. The paper inside is a nice heavy-weight Fabriano that can be used either for writing on, or for inks or pencil drawing. I reinforced the cover with red library bookcloth on the spine and on the two front corners. It's about 5 x 8 inches. -- Alison of Kurberry
